MPC-HC freezing when playing wmv.

Hi everyone,

Recently, I've been playing a few WMV movies on my laptop and I've encountered some problems when I use MPC-HC.
First of all, my machine is Windows 7 x64 and currently I'm using K-Lite 12.8.5 Standard. The CPU usage seems higher than usual, sometimes video and audio are out of sync, but the most annoying part is when I try to seek forward or backward: the video will freeze for two long, or MPC-HC will simply hang so I have to close it from Task Manager. This seems to occur mostly with WMV. I can play MP4, MKV and FLV with no problems.
I must mention that I can play the WMV files with Media Player Classic without any problems.
So, I would like to ask if you know any tweak that could improve playback in MPC-HC

MPC-HC options > Internal Filters
Either enable WMV in both columns, or disable it in both. That gives best results.

Seeking can be a bit slow because WMV files often do not contain a proper index table.
