MKV Video stutters
hi all,
I am trying to watch the office's episodes created by MRSK[CTTV]. I'm using the K-Lite mega of latest build.
These files are very stuttering on k-lite while they play just fine in VLC and windows media player.
I've used many options like frame time correction, vsync, and many others, none fixed it.
I've attached the file details as a spoiler. I hope to find a fix for this.
thank you and have a good day

Re: MKV Video stutters
This fixes it for me:
MPC-HC menu > View > Renderer settings > Presentation > Frame time correction
What also works is to change the video renderer to MadVR.
You can also fix the files by remuxing them with MkvToolNix. This corrects the video timestamps.
MPC-HC menu > View > Renderer settings > Presentation > Frame time correction

Re: MKV Video stutters
Sorry, the frame time correction I have tried earlier but didn't work. Isn't there any other wway than video conversion? There's too many files/

Re: MKV Video stutters
MPC-HC options > Playback > Output > Video Renderer
If "Enhanced Video Renderer (Custom Presenter)" is selected there, then frame time correction should work.
Otherwise you can select MadVR there.
MkvToolNix does not convert the video. It just adjusts the wrapper that contains the video. It only takes a few seconds per file.

thanks. That tool seems to do the job. But I was unable to convert all files at once because they got appended when I added many at once. I'm not sure what setting would work to get each file gets wrapped individually and not append.

Re: MKV Video stutters
Click on the arrow of the button "Add to job queue" and select "Afterwards remove all source files". This will empty the source file list. You can do the same with the "start multiplexing" button.
