Passthough of the HDR metadata to the TV has not been implemented yet. This functionality will be added to a future version of MadVR. Probably in the coming months. The specification on how to passthrough that information has only recently been published by Microsoft.

But it is possible to process the HDR on the computer:
1) Select MadVR as video renderer in MPC-HC options.
2) MadVR settings > devices > hdr > convert HDR to SDR using pixel shader math
3) optionally adjust the "peak nits" value on that same settings page. The manual of the TV may contain the correct value.

One other question I was wondering since my TV is 4k HDMI 2.0 capable but my receiver DENON AVR1312 isn't(HDMI1.4) is it possible to connect PC to tv with HDMI and use display port to receiver as conection for sound ? So I can't watch movies and series on 4k screen

Your TV probably has a HDMI port that is labelled as ARC. That means Audio Return Channel. You can use that to connect to your receiver. The TV will then forward the audio to the receiver, and you connect your PC directly to the TV.

The receiver doesn't work if the input only contains audio? I am not an expert with regard to receivers. Some TVs require you to turn on ARC in its settings. ARC may also not work with old cables, as it uses a pin that isn't present in such cables.

If you buy a new one, make sure it supports HDMI 2.0a, as that is the minimum required for HDR. Or wait until the summer and get one with HDMI 2.1 and be fully future proof.
