Help! Can't install k-lite, any version!
Hi, I'm not a computer master, my computer yesterday just decided to not open ANY media, I tried to reinstall codec pack (it happened some time ago and it succeeded), but this time I uninstalled k lite and now there is NO WAY to install it again... I downloaded it many times, restarted computer etc etc and I am hopeless now... When I have codec .exe file opened there is nothing happening.. NOTHING!
Please forgive me for my english. If somebody could help I would be gratefull. There is no such feeling as You can't open any music or video. (I don't now if it is the same problem, but I can't open even YT or foobar ask me to start in a save mode..)

Did you install any software, drivers, or Windows updates yesterday (or the day before that)? Or did anything other unusual happen?
Are you able to visit YouTube website normally, and it is just the videos that do not play? Do you get a fully black rectangle where the video should be, or does it show an error message?
Are any other programs having problems?
Scan for damaged Windows files:
Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt (right-click on it and choose Run as Administrator) > type in this command: sfc.exe /scannow
Scan for viruses:

Re: Help! Can't install k-lite, any version!
Use Windows Explorer to browse to the folder that contain the codec pack installer .exe
Then click on the address bar in Explorer (where it shows the folder name), and type in cmd and press enter. That will open a command prompt at that location. Type in this command:
K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1270_Mega.exe /log="c:\klcp.txt"
That will create a log file. Open it and copy its contents here, so I can see where it gets stuck. Assuming the installer even starts.

I didn't install anything, no drivers, there was no Windows update. Nothing unusual happened, it was evan more starnge because Everything was in order, I left computer open for an hour, and after coming home nothing worked. I can open YT page but can't play any movie, there is an error message. Foobar program can't be open. MPC afetr opening movie all the time show Opening word. I did what You suggest and I saw this: "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."
