Hey Klite developers why don't you guys add MPC-BE (Black Edition) in your codec pack instead of MPC-HC (Home Cinema)
Media Player Classic - Black Edition is a free and open source audio and video player for Windows.
MPC-BE is based on the original "Media Player Classic" project (Gabest) and "Media Player Classic Home Cinema" project (Casimir666), contains additional features and bug fixes.
For more information plz go to the source page https://sourceforge.net/projects/mpcbe/
& Here is the forum page http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=165890
I am using it & I love it
Hope you guys hear my request!

Replacing MPC-HC is not going to happen. Maybe one day MPC-BE will get added as an alternative choice, but chance is small.

why it isn't possible MPC-BE is totally same as MPC-HC infact it is basically an enhanced player.

It uses completely different internal codecs compared to MPC-HC.

Well sorry for being a such novice
Does the internal codecs matters that much?
and even if they did doesn't MPC-BE already have the enhanced version of them.....
Okay well maybe I am wrong will you able to plz tell me which I should use with K lite codec pack for quality and performance.
Is there's any downside if I use MPC-BE instead of MPC-HC?
and I thought majority of the users use LAV decoder/encoder MPC-BE already been have what more you need.

Re: Instead of adding MPC-HC in K-Lite Codec Pack add MPC-BE It is actually good than MPC-HC
The internal codecs of MPC-BE are very similar to LAV Filters, but not better/enhanced and also not worse. It is just redundant, meaning adding MPC-BE would have a big impact on the size of the codec pack.
MPC-BE does not offer much extra compared to MPC-HC. Main difference is the black interface, which I personally think is ugly. The only other big difference that many people like is the seek preview.

"One outstanding feature of MPC-BE that makes it preferable to MPC-HC is that Shoutcast and Icecast track info is displayed in the information bar."
