Selection Ratio
I am a new user. Just installed K-Lite 12.3.5 Standard on a Win 7 home premium 64bit system. I've been reading some of the 'Tip of the day' pop ups to help familiarize myself with K-Lite.
My question is about this tip:
My 'Edit' menu does not have an entry for Selection Ratio; and I did not find the term 'Selection ratio' in a search of this forum.
Hence the question: How do I access this feature?

Re: Selection Ratio
K-Lite does not show such tips. It is another program. My guess would be the software of your scanner or multi-function printer.

That is very interesting --- I do not have a scanner or multi-function printer.[or any printer]
Keep in mind, yesterday I just downloaded K-Lite for the first time.
The 'previous' tip was:
That seems to be a correct procedure for XnView, isn't it?
Clicking the 'next' button also gives a correct tip: [Edit: When I tried to post this, it was rejected as too large, so I deleted two images and will post the "next" tips in my next post . . .]
How could some other software be able to generate 'tips' that give correct procedures for XnView?

Re: Selection Ratio
So those are the tips, in the order they appear when clicking the 'next' button.
When I launch XnView those tips appear in a pop up. With three giving correct information, I asked about the "selection ratio" , which I could not find in the menus.

Re: Selection Ratio
Please accept my apology.
I just realized that I have confused my download of XnView, with my subsequent download of your Codec. And, it is now obvious to me that I have not inquired on the correct forum.
Now I understand your answer, it is "other software" -- of course.
Sorry to trouble you.
