seeking issue, seeking stops at 2:41
when playing mpeg and some mpg files, seek bar is set at {2:41} 2minutes 41seconds. no matter how big the vid and no matter what program use to open the vid. The vid will play passed 2:41 but u cant seek there.

seeking issue expanded
when playing mpeg and some mpg files, seek bar is set at a small present of the vid size. Example a 35min vid gives a seek time around 2min 41 sec and no matter what program use to open the vid. The vid will play passed 2:41 but u cant seek there. it like the vids were split into small vids and when put back together it doesn't recognize the new seek time. I have many file broken down and put back together, but it doesn't happen to most of them.

Can you upload an example file for me? Or tell me where you downloaded it. You can upload to http://www.sendspace.com or another file hosting site.
yes but
I'm an avid porn connoisseur, so that's the only vids I have with the issue. if site seems appropriate host site I will upload. ok it will be a small vid nsfw. seek stops at 20sec. I should also add. I have had these vids for a decade or more and have had no probs on other systems also using same programs and codex as I'm using now. just now its win 10 and program/codex updated. Host site link https//www.sendspace.com/file/yf8f5b 18.3megs

A workaround:
- LAV Splitter > Input Formats > uncheck MPEG
- Media Player Classic options > Internal Filters > uncheck MPEG/PS/TS/PVA
Then it will use the standard MPEG splitter from Microsoft.
The problem seems to be in FFmpeg, which is used by LAV Splitter and also by VLC Player (which has the same bug).

holy crap, that worked. and so simple. thank you thank you thank you!!!
I had this issue once before long time ago on a Xp machine. but it cleared its self up, I must have installed something that reset to those settings. I hope they fix that, cause that's been an issue for a long time apparently :/
Thanks again.
