Crashing module ffdshow64/ffdshow.ax
Hello guys, I got this crash when seeing movies with MPC today.
Seem like it happened randomly, not just this film, it happened with other videos as well.
I've tried reinstall K Lite, nothing changed.
Here is my specs:
Windows 7 64 bit.
CPU: AMD Phenom X4 GP9850
GPU: MSI HD 7790
RAM: 8GB RAM bus 1066
I'm using K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1222_Mega, the latest version of K Lite from www.codecguide.com
Here is my list of installed codec/filters:
Thanks, and sorry for my English !

Re: Crashing module ffdshow64/ffdshow.ax
Uninstall the codec pack. Then re-install it and select the LAV decoders as preferred. The LAV decoders are better and more reliable.
ffdshow is no longer being developed so this crash can't be fixed.

Re: Crashing module ffdshow64/ffdshow.ax
But ffdshow allow me to intervene the video looking-quality deeply via "Picture Properties", so I want to keep it.
Beside, when I run a video, I see there is 3 icon on taskbar, ffdhsow video decoder, ffdhow audio decoder and LAV Splitter. So I think my computer use LAV to decode the video, correct me If I'm wrong !!!
Thanks, and sorry for my English, again !

Re: Crashing module ffdshow64/ffdshow.ax
There is not really anything that we can do about it. Development of ffdshow has stopped long ago.
You are only using LAV Splitter, not the audio and video decoder. A splitter basically just reads the file and extracts the content for the decoders.
MPC also has some picture properties settings. You could use those instead.
