Dscaler Deinterlacer in 64-bit ffdshow
Ok, so I've been searching everywhere for any info on how to get this working, but all I get is stuff from 7 years ago saying to point ffdshow (32-bit version) to the proper directory. I have already done this for both 32 and 64-bit versions, but nothing happens in the 64-bit. (32-bit works perfectly) I've tried copying the filters to the ffdshow filters directories, no effect... Help me out, how do I get Dscaler deinterlacer working in the 64-bit version of ffdshow? (not a part of the Dscaler filter section in ffdshow)

The 64-bit version of ffdshow doesn't include a DScaler plugin.
Exactly which functionality from DScaler do you need?

I've found the Dscaler deinterlacer to be far superior to the ones included by default, (the default ones sometimes have trouble giving smooth video from a 29.97 FPS source, but I've seen Dscaler give smooth from a 10 FPS source) I was just hoping there was some workaround to get it working in the 64-bit version.
I also like as many options as possible, so that I can pick what I feel is best whenever I want.

Have you tried hardware deinterlacing? That almost always gives better quality that software deinterlacing, and it should also be able to handle inverse telecine. Hardware deinterlacing is used automatically if you don't enable deinterlacing in the decoder, and avoid filters that do no pass on the interlacing flags.
LAV Video decoder should offer better deinterlacing quality than ffdshow. The Yadif implementation of ffdshow is outdated compared to the one from LAV.

I have used both, but Dscaler produces much better results when set properly...

If you have Visual Studio 2010, then you could try compiling the plugin yourself. But I don't know if the 64-bit version will work correctly.

I'll give it a try. Even if it doesn't work, thanks for trying. If it works, would it be OK to post a copy up on the forum? (I sure I'm not the only one that would use it if it was available)

You can try this version:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/506ssz
It was build with VS2015, which surprising didn't throw any warnings. Put it in the DScaler folder and configure the path in ffdshow.

That's interesting, I can't seem to find the x64 version anymore... It was in the list here a couple months ago as an experimental build... http://deinterlace.sourceforge.net/downloads.htm
