Media Player Classic buttons and menus are too small on 4K TV
As the title says, the Media Player buttons and menus are extremely small on 4K screens, not even possible to read or distinguish.
4K monitors and tvs are more popular everyday, it is important to fix this so we can keep on using this software.
Thanks

Windows Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > increase text scaling (DPI)
Media Player Classic will automatically scale the menu text, depending on the setting above. Same applies to many other applications. If you use Windows 8.1 or 10, it is possible to use different DPI values for each individual screen that you have.
The codec pack uses a larger toolbar size depending on the DPI value. However, it uses the DPI setting of the primary screen. You can manually replace the toolbar.bmp file with a larger version if desired. You can find them here:

Re: Media Player Classic buttons and menus are too small on 4K TV
Admin, thanks so much for your answer, unfortunately increasing text scaling has some problems...
1.- If you increase letter size enough to be seen on a 4K display 4 meters away the letters actually don't fit the player frame since the player itself does not increase size
2.- If, as myself, use two screens, a 1080 for normal work, and a 4K to watch movies, when you return the player to the 1080 the scaled letters simply look awful, don't even considering they don't actually fit the player as mentioned before.
3.- There is not still a set of replace buttons that actually look clear on 4K displays.
All this solution unfortunately don't help much... what we need is a true 4K ready player.
Thanks again

The player itself should also resize a bit. But maybe not enough on 4K. You should create a new ticket for it on the MPC-HC bug tracker. Don't forget to include a screenshot and mention which DPI setting you use. Here is the bug tracker:

(their site is currently under maintenance, so try again later if you get an error page)
Here is a SVG toolbar that scales automatically:
