Scary ERROR warning K-lite install?

Hi All,

I'm new here using Window 10 X64 and like the K-lite features but get this scarry warning screen when I go to install the software, how do I fix/stop this? I'm sorry if this has been answered already, I looked around but didn't see anything. Screen here http://screencast.com/t/KXYIJwScB

Which file did you download and from which mirror?

Genuine files should have the exact same name and size as mentioned on the website. You can verify files with http://www.virustotal.com the SHA256 hash should match with the one mentioned on the website.

It is normal that you get a "Publisher could not be verified" message in Windows and the browser. That happens for any file that doesn't have a digital signature.

The warning means that the file is unknown, nothing more. It doesn't mean that the file is bad. In most cases it is simply because the file is brand new. Files need to build 'reputation'. For popular files that should happen rather quickly. You were just one of the first to download the file.

For files that are actually known to be bad, an actual scary error is shown.
