Media Player Classic freezes my PC!
Greetings people! I'm new to the forum Anyway, here's my problem: I've noticed that sometimes when I try to play some files with Media Player Classic it freezes my PC and I can't do nothing. So I have to force a shutdown... I've updated k-lite codec pack but it doesn't change much.
Here are my computer specs:
- Intel core i7 @ 4.0 GHZ
- 16GB of RAM
- Amd Radeon R9 390 8GB
I hope that you help me find a solution!

Re: Media Player Classic freezes my PC!
A complete system freeze means there is a problem with one of your drivers, or there is a hardware problem.
Some things that you can try:
1) Disable hardware acceleration in the video decoder (in case you enabled that)
2) Update your AMD graphics driver (or try an older version).
3) Update your sound driver
4) Scan your harddrive for errors. Right-click on your harddrive in Explorer > Properties > Tools > Error-checking
Enable the option to scan for bad sectors. A bad sector (a small damaged spot on the harddrive) is a very common cause for complete system freezes. The scan can take a few hours if you have a very large harddrive.
