Hi,

I'm using Klite codecs standard edition with MPCHC. Yesterday, playing a video wasn't a problem but today I have weird problems:

  • dvd launch but after a while image is black and the film stops playing,
  • video I play from a file look like that, cropped on all sides and surrounded by a black frame:

Try this:
Codec Tweak Tool > Settings > Reset

Does the problem also occur when playing in full screen (F11)?
Did you recently update your graphics driver?

Yes and no, drivers were up to date and installed for some time.

The problem occurred after I deinstalled Visual Studio. I guess something must have gone wrong then. I ended up re-installing Windows 7; this solved the problem.
