I'm having problem with DXVA. Especially with pgs sub.
It's always crash on certain minute.
But if i skip those certain minute, the file runs smoothly.
I don't know where the problem is.
Here's my klcp codec log:

already updated to the latest version, but still has the same error while playing with DXVA enabled for activate a pgs subs.

I don't know where the problems are.

Is there a way for activate a pgs subs without DXVA activated?
Step-by-step would be nice.

Subtitles should work without DXVA. No special settings are needed. They are not dependent on the video decoder at all.

I thought to activate pgs subs always by DXVA.
If DXVA is not active, pgs subs won't appear.

is there any way to make pgs subs appear without DXVA?
I'm clueless...

Right-click on the video file > MediaInfo
Copy that information here.

The problem might be due to your screen resolution (1024x768). PGS subtitles are usually 1920x1080.

This this setting:
MPC-HC options > Subtitles > Maximum texture resolution > 1920x1080

The crash happens in ffdshow. Are you using the processing filter? Which things are enabled in ffdshow?

Do NOT enable subtitles in ffdshow. Those should be handled by MPC-HC.

Just deinterlacing.
Subtitle on ffdshow is disabled.
Codecs -> all to 'libavcodec'

Development of ffdshow has stopped long ago, so that crash can't be fixed.

You don't need ffdshow for deinterlacing the video. That should be done automatically by the video renderer. If that isn't the case because the video frames are not correctly flagged as interlaced, then adjust the deinterlacing settings in LAV Video decoder. Setting it to 'aggressive' usually does the trick. It can even perform deinterlacing if you don't like the deinterlacing quality of the video renderer.

It's still crash at certain time even though i'm already deactivate 'deinterlacing' feature.

Uninstall the pack and then re-install. Use default settings and don't enable anything in ffdshow this time.

Works like magic dude...

Reinstalling with 'alot of stuff' profile.
And a little altering with 'media foundation' and 'MS codec tweak' and the files runs smooth like a butter...
Laughing

thanks for the advice..

MPC-HC does not use Media Foundation, so those tweaks are only useful for players like Windows Media Player.
