Recording LAV Output with MPC-HC
Hi there
I have a DTS-HD MA 5.1 Lossless soundtrack that I'm trying to downmix to stereo WAV. I've tried some converters, but the output is not downmixed the way the LAV audio decoder downmixes it in MPC:

Is there anyway to record the output of the LAV audio decoder using MPC? It downmixes exactly the way I would want the stereo WAV to sound.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Recording LAV Output with MPC-HC
Open the file with GraphStudioNext tool,
Remove the video decoder and video renderer. Insert "Null renderer" filter and connect it to the video pin of the splitter.
Remove the audio renderer. Insert "Avi Mux" filter and connect it to the audio decoder. Insert "File writer" filter and connect it to avi mux.
Menu > Play > uncheck "Use clock" (this allow doing things as fast as possible, instead in realtime).
Then press Play button.
This will give you downmixed uncompressed audio inside an AVI container.

Here you can find a filter called "wavdest.ax":
https://www.sendspace.com/file/4b1sbd
Register this file using regsvr32 and you can use it to mux into a WAV file instead of AVI. It is a 32-bit filter, so use the 32-bit version of GraphStudioNext.

Works like a charm! Didn't require null renderer as it was just a dts audio file. Thanks alot!
