[Help] Best config Madvr but not good cpu Almost tried everything
You are about to read some bad English. and I am really sorry about it. I am not a native English speaker.
So guys I am looking for good config for madvr
my specs are core i5 4670k
graphic card GTX 970
Ram corsair DDR-3 12 gb
so as you can see my specs are at mid-level
I have tried 2 to 4 configs but can't get any good results if I see on quality I put pressure on my cpu. madvr will consume 20 to 40% of my cpu. that’s the only thing I don't want...
what i am looking for is low resource consumption with good quality ...means 5% to 10% performance consumption and give good quality results ....
and there is one video player that does this is kmplayer it is giving me some really good results and really low level resource consumption ........
but the problem with kmplayer is it is full of ads .it just too much annoying I am looking for alternatives so plz guys help me thanxxx
My current config

Re: [Help] Best config Madvr but not good cpu Almost tried everything
Things like upscaling and superres are done on the GPU by madVR. Debanding is something that it does using the CPU.
The best approach is to start with default madvr settings and then change one setting at a time and view the results with regard to CPU/GPU usage and video quality.
In the future there will probably be a couple of presets that can be used as a starting point. Right now the feature set of madvr still changes too often.

I am really sorry for the really late reply I thought no one replied to the issue I posted..............so the main problem is speed it consumes too much cpu cant we just put the pressure on our gpu is there is any way of that
or can we play 60 FPS videos LIKE SVP but by using only Enhanced video renderer (CP)

I don't fully understand what you mean. The amount of CPU usage depends on the settings that you choose in madVR. Enhanced video renderer doesn't need much CPU power.
Re: [Help] Best config Madvr but not good cpu Almost tried everything
I know EVR doesn't consume much but now I changed my mind is there is anyway i can play or use frame interpolation on EVR .I use SVP https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Main_PageAdmin wrote:I don't fully understand what you mean. but it only works with madvr so i am thinking that if there is another way i can watch 60fps video without the need of madvr or svp

Re: [Help] Best config Madvr but not good cpu Almost tried everything
SVP should work with EVR-CP as well.
madVR has an option called "smooth motion" that can be used as an alternative for SVP. It does not increase the framerate of the video, but instead uses frame blending to ensure visual smoothness.

Okay thanx and can you guys add a frame rate counter in Mpchc because nowdays no type of frame rate viewer is effective of 64 bit mpchc can you plz add it thanxx

Menu > View > Statistics
That will display video framerate. You can also press Ctrl+J to display statistics on top of the video.

Hey thanxx for that i didn't knew that ...Admin wrote:Menu > View > Statistics

it was my own stupidity to not look correctly sorry
But i noticed something framerate is weird when i first ran the MPC the framerate was running fine but after 20 seconds frame rate got up..i thought it could be a glitch then after 1 minute ..it captures my attention with it's increasiness
for e.g.
My Actual Framerate(click the image to see the frame rate)
And this is MPCHC stats

Re: [Help] Best config Madvr but not good cpu Almost tried everything
That value is not correct. Here it reports the refreshrate of the screen with madVR as renderer. It is supposed to show the framerate of the video (24 fps). So that is a bug. The Ctrl+J details should be accurate.
Re: [Help] Best config Madvr but not good cpu Almost tried everything
Can't you guys add a little frame rate on the side of the video like thisAdmin wrote:That value is not correct. Here it reports the refreshrate of the screen with madVR as renderer. It is supposed to show the framerate of the video (24 fps). So that is a bug. The Ctrl+J details should be accurate.
for e.g. press ctrl+j to view full stats press ctrl+h(or anyother key) to view just the framerate by this method it will not destroy the scenes of the video...and the user can see the framerate and enjoy the video together..............i don't know why did you guys didn't thought about this

Re: [Help] Best config Madvr but not good cpu Almost tried everything
Why do you need to keep it in view? What is so interesting about it? The value is not going to change during the movie.
Re: [Help] Best config Madvr but not good cpu Almost tried everything
You are really wrong about that ...I made 3d videos everyday and i have to see the framerate of the video ....and the value change every damn same day .....Admin wrote:Why do you need to keep it in view? What is so interesting about it? The value is not going to change during the movie.
for me to keep the farmerate in view is really important .....so will you guys going to add the farmerate....It will really make me happy ...plz

Re: [Help] Best config Madvr but not good cpu Almost tried everything
The value changes? That would be weird unless your camera records with a variable framerate.
Re: [Help] Best config Madvr but not good cpu Almost tried everything
I Use VFR everyday for my editing works and for other reasons like adobe premier Jagglings an annoying bug they still didn't figure out how to fix this bug but these are other thingsAdmin wrote:The value changes? That would be weird unless your camera records with a variable framerate.
what i want to say is will you guys add the farme rate on your next update

You will have to submit a feature request to the developers of MPC-HC.
