Problem in Media Player Classic

My windows version is Windows 7 and codec pack version is 11.1.0. My problem is just one months ago I download a video and then when I played the video I saw there is no simulation in video and sound, video pause and sound going away, then the video automatically play and after few second again the video pause and sound going away and the process Continuously going on. My default video player is Media Player Classic and I want to say you another thing that in others video there is any fault I did not see. I have tried to run this specific video on other player, example- VLC media player, GOM player, Windows media player etc. But on those media players there is no issue I could not see as I saw Media Player Classic.

Thank you, after installing the latest version of codec pack my problem has been solved. Now my new codec pack version is 11.8.0.

But a new problem has been emergence. The problem is when I'm played a mp3 file my window media player not showing the visualizations. I just can see only the album photo or movie photo etc. Then when I choose a visual that time I can see the visualization. And then when I close the windows media player and played a any mp3 file (the same file or the others mp3 file) I faced the same problem again. I am sending you some screenshots. I do not know when this issue has been made. Because last week when listening to a song that time windows media player working fine. I am not sure, however, that it could be this was causing problems since installing the new codec pack.

I just tested and here the visualization setting is correctly remembered by WMP. Is your problem that the setting is not remembered, or that you are getting a black screen?

By default WMP uses standard codecs from Microsoft for playback of MP3 files. The codec pack should not have changed that behavior.

The settings is not remembered, it does not automatically start visualizations when playing an audio file. I have to do it manually in each audio file I play. By default everytime I play music it just displays the album photo or movie photo.

The setting is stored in this Registry key:

I have no idea why it does not remember in your case, but it is very unlikely that codecs are involved.

What are you talking about? I just do not know. Because I think if I changes anything in the registry then it's may be effect to my system. And I want to inform you one more thing and that is there is no problem with WMP when it's on the Skin Mode. The problem occurred only on Library Mode. But I would like to play Mp3 files on library Mode, as I played it before.

You can view the contents of the Registry with the Windows Registry Editor (regedit.exe). Just interesting too see which value it has stored and if it changes.

The problem is certainly not codec related. Did you perhaps disable User Account Control (UAC) in Windows? That can sometimes cause strange problems like this.

The differences in values on my computer:

When using Album Art:
PlayerModeAlbumArtSelected = 1
PlayerModeBackgroundEnabled = 1
PlayerModeShowMetadata = 1
ShowEffects = 0

With visualization enabled:
PlayerModeAlbumArtSelected = 0
PlayerModeBackgroundEnabled = 0
PlayerModeShowMetadata = 0
ShowEffects = 1

CurrentDisplayView is set to "VizView" here, and "AlbumArtView" on your computer. Funny thing is that the value does not change here if I switch to album art. So it probably isn't used anymore by WMP12.

With my direction when WMP is enabled on "VizView" that time value is- PlayerModeAlbumArtSelected (Value data=0, Base=Hexadecimal), PlayerModeBackgroundEnabled (Value data=0, Base=Hexadecimal), PlayerModeShowMetadata (Value data=0, Base=Hexadecimal), ShowEffects (Value data=1, Base=Hexadecimal).

Yes, it only happens in library mode. Another thing I want to tell you that the problem that caused WMP visualizations, it is seen by selecting only mp3 files. I have no problem with the video files.
