I tried to enable automatic updates but this error message appears.

I've tried doing this with several different versions of K-Lite codec, none with luck.
Any help?

I don't have a solution for you at this moment. This means the Windows Task Scheduler gave an error. It happens very rarely. I don't know why it happens. Maybe a security tool is blocking it, or something is wrong with the Windows access permissions.

Can I create a scheduled task for checking updates manually then? What's command for checking updates? Do you have, for example, an importable XML file that I can use to create a scheduled task?
