Switching to next/previous file crashes MPC-HC

In the last two versions of KLCP, I have noticed that whenever I try to play the next/previous file in the folder by pressing the default hotkeys (CTRL + Page Up/Down), MPC-HC crashes. In fact, it also crashes if there is more than one file in the playlist. When one file ends, and the next is about to begin, the player crashes. As such, I can only use it now to play individual files and not multiple files simultaneously as I did before. Any help would be appreciated.

It works here. Are you using any non-default settings?

None that I know of. Renderer is madVR and subtitle renderer is XySubFilter. Problem persists in all other renderers as well, so I don't think that's the problem. The player can now only play one file. It even crashes if there is a video in the player (either playing or paused) and I right click on another video and select "Open with -> MPC-HC"

Are you using the latest XySubFilter? It contains some fixes for madVR.

Thanks for posting the thread link, but it seems to be pretty old and the problem only started on the last two versions of KLCP. Oh well. Let's see if further updates down the line can fix this...

The developer of madVR hasn't been active in the past few weeks, so he hasn't looked into that specific problem yet. It probably only happens in combination with XySubFilter.

K-lite 11.6.5 contained madVR version 0.89.13

Unlikely, as I tried madVR + VSFilter (the KLCP bundled one) as well. Same problem. Is there a log or something that I can send you? Will that help you narrow down the problem? If so, how do I do it?

There is nothing I can do to fix it even if I could reproduce it. Try the 0.89.13 version of madVR.

Hi. Problem still persisted after 11.7.9. On a whim, I decided to run MPC-HC after disabling my AV. That solved the problem! So now I know this is not a problem originating from the pack. Thanks for your help, admin.

PS: For those who might want to know, my AV is Webroot SecureAnywhere
