Hello,

I'm using Media Player Classic (portable version) together with a security camera connected to a video grabber. Every works fine but when I disconnect the video grabber from the PC the image on the monitor is freezing.
Is it possible to get a screensaver or black screen (blue screen) instead of a freezing screen when the video grabber is diconnected?

Thank you in advance for the reply.

Best regards,
Moomin

Stop playback before removing the grabber. Then it should not freeze.

Yes I understand. But sometimes the grabber will be removed by someone else because they need an USB port.

Of course I can take an USB hub but I want to know is it possible to prevent the freezing image by disconnecting the USB grabber.

You can find the official bug tracker for MPC here:
https://trac.mpc-hc.org/report/9

Submit a new ticker there explaining your problem. Maybe the developers can help.
