New feature suggestion
Forgive me if I'm posting this thread in the wrong place, I'm still new here. But if I may, might I make the suggestion to add ReClock and XySubFilter in the next version? MPC-HC in the K-Lite package already allows you to switch your subtitle renderer between internal subtitle renderer, VSFilter and XySubFilter (which is marked unavailable) through a neat dropdown selector now. Bundling the latest build of XySubFilter (from Cyberbeing's GitHub account) in the installers would be pretty cool if implemented. Just my two cents

Re: New feature suggestion
MPC-HC has a new internal audio renderer that supports WASAPI output. So there are less reasons for using ReClock now than in the past. Also, ReClock is 32-bit only, which is a huge limitation.
I see little benefit in using XySubFilter. The Internal Subtitle Renderer works just fine. So unless a lot of people request it...

Re: New feature suggestion
While Internal Subtitle Renderer does indeed work fine for most of the cases, it cannot keep up with heavily stylized ASS subtitles found in many fansubbed anime episodes. The subbing community also recommends using XySubFilter + MPC-HC combo to its followers. Since K-Lite's MPC-HC is my go-to player for everything these days, especially anime, I thought I would request this feature. Anyways, thanks for hearing me out!

Maybe in a future version.
But you can also install XySubFilter manually right now. The latest K-Lite installer detects it and disables the internal subtitle renderer automatically.

Re: New feature suggestion
Sorry for the same, but i have a question about Directsound vs WASAPI.
I have a stereo headphones but i watch movies with both stereo and surround sound.I get better sound quality with Directsound by using this setup:
Onboard Realtek HD Audio - Speaker configuration is stereo with Headphones output for better dynamic range (Has better quality than Front Speaker OUT)
Audio decoder output - same as input
Audio pass-through - disabled
LAV audio - everything configured for bit exact output
Thats what i get and hear with Directsound surround:
Default directsound device - nChannels 6 (Very Good)
FL FR - Sounds Normal
Center - Sounds Louder (Very Good)
BL BR - Sounds Lower (Dont know is it Good or Bad)
Thats what i get and hear with WASAPI surround:
Internal audio renderer - Channels 2 (Downmixes and loses quality)
FL FR - Sounds Normal
Center - Sounds Normal (Very Bad)
BL BR - Sounds Normal (Dont Know is it Good or Bad)
Is there a way to make WASAPI output same as source number of channels?

Re: New feature suggestion
It only downmixes if the audio device does not accept the original format. I am not sure why it didn't accept 6 channels.
You can contact the developer (alexmarsev) of the internal audio renderer here:
