Problem: Screen flashing random colors when opening video and seeking
The thumbnail does not display the video correctly and when the video is open, the video flashes random colors (audio is ok) 3-5 seconds before showing the content. Same happens when you seek to a different position, the screen flashes random colors for 3-5 seconds before showing correctly, slight delay when seeking too.

problem does not occur when video is played with VLC.

Does it only happen with Bandicam recordings? Which video format do the files contain?

It happens when I record using Bandicam AND do a fast-trim(fast and lossless) without encoding. Happens only with file which is 1GB and above.

I've tried multiple trim softwares including avidemux and all of them gives the same result.

tl;dr whenever I trim a file 1GB and above without encoding, the problem stated will occur.

In the settings of the H.264 encoding, set the keyframe interval to 1. Then every frame in the video will be a keyframe and you can cut at any position.

Otherwise, try VirtualDub for trimming and make sure to always start the cut at a keyframe.

In H.264 video, frames can depend on previous frames when decoding. If such frames are missing after cutting, then they fail to decode properly and you get garbage output for a short period.
