Volume Control problem on MPC-HC after latest install..
Hi all,
I have just installed the latest standard version of k-lite since I was using an older version before. Everything is working fine except for this weird volume control issue on MPC-HC.. With for example an mp4 file I can use the volume control (increase and decrease) just fine, but let's say if I play an mkv file then neither the volume control nor windows volume control doesn't adjust the sound at all, and the volume of the sound stays the same..
I'm using a home theater receiver which is connected to the pc with a toslink cable, so I can only adjust the sound on a mkv file from the receiver obviously. However I didn't change my setup at all, and everything was working fine with previous k-lite version.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You must have enabled audio-passthrough. In that case the compressed audio is decoded by your receiver, and only the receiver can control volume.
To disable it:
Codec Tweak Tool > Audio Output
To disable it:
Codec Tweak Tool > Audio Output
