Windows 10 thumbnails for video not generating

klcp_update_1153_20151014 on windows 10 64bit

thumbnails for all format of video is not generating. help?

Try re-installing 11.5.0 and then the 11.5.3 update again.

tried reinstall multiple times ,now im on klcp_update_1156_20151020, its still same zero thumbnails all on video formats, my default player is windows media classic 64bit, do i have to set windows media player instead?

Explorer > Organize > Folder Options > View > uncheck "Always show icons, never thumbnails"

Players have no influence on thumbnails.

tried, all fail , its frustrating i really not sure whats going on, i even tried install icaros ,still wont show, its showing media classic as icon only. help?

Download Media Preview. Once downloaded firstly tick all the video options you require and then go to the option where it says Testing and cache. Then just drag your file over the target and it will be corrected.

Clearing the thumbnail cache should have the same effect.

Can you switch back to Icaros and test if that also works now (for newly added files)?
