LAV Splitter and Video launch with playback, LAV audio doesn't, result is no audio
I don't think I've tried to play any video files since I updated to latest K-lite until just now. LAV audio is not launching when I start playback of an h.264 video/DTS audio .mkv file. Both LAV Splitter and LAV Video launch. The video plays back without sound. I'm not sure what do now.
I'm not certain of the exact order of how the stuff below occurred, but I was hoping to troubleshoot an issue with receiver and I think I was playing a file when LAV Audio did launch and tried turning off bitstreaming during playback. Or maybe I'd closed the file already, manually launched LAV audio and made the change to not bitstream. Nonetheless some error message did pop up and LAV Audio quit. Since I've had the issue of LAV Audio not launching. My attempts to fix it have been re-installing latest K-lite on top of existing. Un-installing first then re-installing latest. Un-installing that then re-installing 11.2. Upgrading that to latest. Running codec tweak Fix with 1st 3 options checked. None of this has worked. Also tried CCleaner's registry error cleaning tool.
any thoughts?

OK I got it. I'd been playing with some different remote control apps and did have this one, mobile mouse, give me some fatal exception when I closed iTunes even though iTunes was still being controlled by the mobile mouse app. I got LAV fixed when I reinstalled the mobile mouse server (which must have been trying to claim priority for audio playback?)

It might be hooking into DirectSound or something like that. You should report your problems to the makers of that application. It seems to be doing strange things.
