Since upgrade to Win10 MPC will not play mp4 files
hi,
I have upgraded to Win10, and installed the latest K-Lite mega Package,
but MediaPlayerClassic will not play Mp4 files. (they worked in win8.1)
When I doubleclick a mp4 it opens, timestamp is correct but it does not
start to play, I can use the seekbar to skip but I just see a freeze frame.
tried hali and lav as splitter, non working.
any ideas ?
edit: mp4 files are working with MPC x64, so I associated my mediafiles with the x64 edition, and for *.avs files I need to use the x86 version of MPC
(the MPC x64 cant handle the avs)

Perhaps a third party codec is interfering. What do you see in Menu > Play > Filters? You should see LAV Splitter and decoders.
If you install 64-bit AviSynth, then *.avs will work in x64 MPC. Of course, any other software that you use must also be compatible.
