Actual Codec Pack is buged ! Empty Actual Codec Pack is buged !

Hello.

Version 11.1.0 Mega is broken and also version 11.1.6

Version 11.0.0 Mega is the last working version i know. All following just bring problems.


Problems:

Scratched noises while playback xvid videos * and divx
Streamcloud and other are asynchron after a view minutes of playback

When i uninstall the codec pack and reinstall the old Version 11.0.0 Mega all is working fine.

Tested on 4 PC´s with different Hardware configuration.
But same Software configuration :

- Mozilla Firefox 38.0.1
- Klite Mega Codec Pack
- VLC Player
- DIVX
- Xvid Codec
- Adobe Flash
- Adobe Shockwave
- iTunes


And please dont tell me that i have to uninstall the other codecs Very Happy i use your awesome KLite Codec Pack for some years and i had never problems before !
The problem must be in all the Version after 11.0.0

I hope you can fix this i don´t wanna use my PC without your pack !  albino

Actually, it is possible that something is wrong with the files.

Try this setting:
LAV Audio decoder > disable "Auto A/V sync correction"

What that option does is check for gaps and other irregularities in the timestamps, and attempt to compensate for it. It has no effect on files with valid timestamps. In other cases it sometimes fixes things and something causes a bit of trouble.

If this fixes your problem(s), then I would be interested in having one of those files.

Do the scratched noises happen all the time or occasionally (due to the sync correction)? Other settings that you can try are:
* Mixing > Normalize Matrix (this will lower volume, try it just to test if problem is because of overflow)
* Only enable the "16-bit integer" output format, and disable the rest.

Okay interresting facts i tested:

Version 11.0.0 Mega is working fine without any problems

Version 11.0.5 Mega casues scratchy noises

Version 11.1.0 Mega Web playback of xvid and divx files does scratchy noises. Local Playback is without Problems (not all files)

Version 11.1.X Mega causes scratchy noises with local playback and web players

I remember that this happens times before with some of your pack versions .. one was working finde the next not and the next working again fine.
I do all the time the same steps: first install your KLite Codec pack and than the other codecs over it.

Here a MediaInfo of a file with scratchy noises. Klite Mega Version 11.1.8

Xvid is included in the pack, so you don't need to install it separately. You also don't need DivX codecs, so just install the webbrowser plugin (if you use that), and skip the rest. I think DivX even recently removed the codecs from their bundle.

Does the web playback actually use the codecs from the pack? You should see icons in the system tray (right-bottom corner of your screen) when the filters from the pack are used.

Have you tried the settings that I mentioned?

With scratchy noises, do you mean just bad quality (you can still hear the voices and stuff), or just random noise?

Also try this on Windows 7/8:
Codec Tweak Tool > MS Codec Tweaks > disable MS DTV-DVD Audio decoder

How i said before i want to install DivX codec and others separatly because i had the best experience with this way.
And normally i have no problems with this combination.

I have installed Klite Codec Version 11.0.0 Mega and it is running fine now. Ill wait until you have fixed the problems before i install a newer one. Smile

With scratched noises i mean scrached, swoosh, garish, distorted noises.

Ill try to change the settings on my other machine.

Problems can only be fixed if they are reproducible. I obviously don't have any problems here, nor have there been any other reports of similar problems.

Can you tell where I can download one of the files that you are having troubles with? Then I can test with the exact same file.

I assume you are using MPC-HC as player?

Then also try:
Codec Tweak Tool > Media Foundation > disable for .mkv

This option is only available when the DivX Media Foundation Matroska splitter is present. That splitter is very buggy and should not be used.

Downloaded that video (who am I). It plays without problems here with WMP. No noises, no sync issues.

Win7 x64, K-Lite 11.2.0, default settings. Of course, no DivX stuff installed.

During playback the white/red/blue LAV icons should appear in the system tray. I also tried with the Microsoft audio decoder, and that was fine too.

The Problem is still not solved !

Again with a completly fresh installed Windows 7 64Bit (Updates an System Drivers installed)

(ATI HD 5450, Realtek Onboard Sound, Mainboard GA-970A-UD3)

Listen to the ugly voices the codec pack do !
Video is shown normally only the sound is that from the file. (it sounds a littlebit different after uploading it to mediafire but you can hear what happens)

Installed Codecs are only DivX and Klite Codec Pack Full !
Becasue i was not able to watch a video without the Divx Codec.

I have this Problems with all .mkv files
Tested at xvidstage.com

So Version 11.0.0 Mega is still the last working version for me. Please fix this iam not the only one with this problem.
Search with google some other people have the same problems.
