AC3 Stereo vs. Mpeg Audio

Hi there

BBC broadcasts two audio tracks, 192kbps AC-3 audio and 256kbps MPEG audio. Which one is better? I only wish to keep one of the two.

Do you have a specific reason for choosing AC3 over mp2?
