Codec for Y41B or other 10-bit formats?
I was trying to open a 10-bit video with Avisynth and it said codec for Y41B not found, is it included in ffdshow or other splitters in K-Lite codec pack?

RGB32 is 8-bit, that would downsample the video.

Which player are you opening the script with? If you are using MPC-HC, then try madVR as video renderer. That supports a lot of colorspaces as input.
Y41B is not a common colorspace, so I don't know any other solution than converting.

I'm opening with Virtualdub. The colorspace doesn't specifically have to be Y41B but any 10-bit one. 8-bit just causes too much banding.

VirtualDub supports v210 as a 10-bit colorspace. But I don't know how to output that from AviSynth. It doesn't have good 10-bit support.
