Only Forced Subtitles option? Empty Only Forced Subtitles option?

Post by ekrys Sun Apr 05, 2015 7:47 am

I created a silent install with the /UNATTENDED switch, which was fantastic, but I was wondering if you could also add an option for the LAV splitter's "Only Forced Subtitles" selection mode (if it doesn't already exist?). I tried to add it via the registry after post-installation, but no registry changes towards the LAV splitter would stick, for some reason.

Create those registry keys in HKLM instead of HKCU.

Hey, thanks for the reply.

I tried adding the registry keys to both HKLM and HKCU, but no dice.

It seems like changes only stick if I go into LAV Splitter, make a change, and then hit Apply prior to importing the registry keys.

My HKLM .reg looks like this:

Code:
[Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LAV\Splitter]
"TrayIcon"=dword:00000001
"prefAudioLangs"=""
"prefSubLangs"=""
"subtitleAdvanced"=""
"subtitleMode"=dword:00000001
"PGSForcedStream"=dword:00000001
"PGSOnlyForced"=dword:00000001
"vc1TimestampMode"=dword:00000002
"substreams"=dword:00000001
"MatroskaExternalSegments"=dword:00000001
"StreamSwitchRemoveAudio"=dword:00000000
"PreferHighQualityAudio"=dword:00000001
"ImpairedAudio"=dword:00000000
"QueueMaxSize"=dword:00000100
"NetworkAnalysisDuration"=dword:000003e8[/b]

The HKCU .reg is the same, but with the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\LAV\Splitter] directory.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

The installer also creates values in those keys, so you can easily see if you got the correct one.

If you use a 64-bit system, then the location is different:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\LAV\Splitter (32-bit filter)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LAV64\Splitter (64-bit filter)

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\LAV\Splitter] did the trick!

Thank you.
