icaros terminated unexpectedly ..

after installing the latest version of k lite codecs i started facing this problem each time i open the downloaded videos folder the windows explorer crash and a message appears saying " icaros terminated unexpectedly ..." with dump file
C:\Users\mm\AppData\Local\Temp\IcarosDebug\IcarosPropertyHandler.dll-2.2.9.302-2.1.dmp

i tried to install the icaros but still the problem not solved ?.. what should i do ?

This has been fixed in the 10.9.8 update.

After removing Klite full and reverting registry and removing all klites out of registry . I reinstalled 12.01 and still Jam up explorer with icaros errors. I am using Total Commander without any issues but this should be fixed.

Uninstalling the pack should already clean the Registry properly. Are you deleting files instead of running the uninstaller?

Update to 12.0.6 and you will not get the error again. In older versions Icaros would also catch errors caused by other Explorer shell extensions.

I took all suggested steps. Still had problem. Then also uninstalled correctly and after reboot wiped data apps directory for additional klite stuff that should have been deleted. Have mini dump to email but need email address as it only jamms about 3 times a day and I forgot to write it down. I am using an alternative to file manager but this is not a very effective solution.

Which directories were left behind? If you can provide details then it can be fixed.

You don't need to e-mail the dumps of the old version. The new version should not create new dumps. Make sure you have at least version 12.0.5
