Question About NVIDIA CUVID Decoder Used By LAV Filters
Hi Admin,
I have EVGA Nvidia GTX 690 GPU and I use LAV Filters but I'm wondering if I should enable "Adaptive HW Deinterlacing" & "Software Deinterlacing (YADIF)".
Would they make any difference in fast video encoding especially I use an HDTV that supports 'Auto Motion Plus'!
Thanks in advance my hero
Cheers,
Salaam

Re: Question About NVIDIA CUVID Decoder Used By LAV Filters
Normal videos are not interlaced, so those settings won't even have any effect on such files. Deinterlacing is by default done by the video renderer. So no, you don't need to enable those settings.
I recommend using DXVA2 instead of CUVID. That works just a good, but keeps your GPU in a low power state, which is more efficient.
