Trouble with multi-language videos
I recently uninstalled Haali Media Splitter as I already had the FFDshow codecs and noticed I was no longer having trouble switching the audio/subtitles of my dual-audio videos. Now I have a multi-language video that has no sound and the subs stack on top of each other. Please advise on how to fix.

Re: Trouble with multi-language videos
Haali Media Splitter and ffdshow don't do the same things. Haali is a splitter and not a decoder. ffdshow is a decoder and not a splitter. You need both a splitter and a decoder.
Instead of Haali and ffdshow I recommend using LAV Filters. That contains both a splitter and a decoder, plus it is actively being maintained.

If I install those, would they conflict with ffdshow? Would I need to uninstall ffdshow?

Both can be installed at the same time.
If you use ffdshow purely as a decoder, then you could remove it. It is only useful if you actually use any of its processing options.

Installing the LAV filters fixed the problem. Thanks a lot!
