Jumplists Not working
Hello Friends
I don't know if anybody else has this problem But my Jumplists is not working with MPC-HC x64+x32 (1.7.7.174)
VLC's Jumplists are fine(so this would suggest my pc settings is fine)
my old version klite v9xxx worked (but some files showed filter errors)
I have Windows 8.1 64 and i installed K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1095_Mega on it
As a side note i just spoke to the MPC-HC's dev (On IRC) and he said that the vinila MPC-HC's jumplist works fine an suggested i give you a ring.
nway thanx for all your hard work!!

Re: Jumplists Not working
The MPC-HC in the codec pack only has a few tiny differences with the vanilla builds. Everything that works in vanilla also works with the one from the pack.
The current codec pack has the "keep history of recently opened files" option disabled by default. That might be the cause of your problem. You can enable it in: Options > Player. There is also an option for it during installation.
However, on my Windows 7 system, the jumplist behavior is actually controlled by an option in Windows. Right-click on Task bar > Start Menu > "Store and display recently opened items in Start menu and task bar". It is probably a bit different in 8.1 due to the Start menu/screen changes.

Re: Jumplists Not working
Just checked. On Windows 8.1 there is a similar option. Right-click on Task bar > Jump Lists.
