subtitles on all my mkv files disappeared it says "undetermined", i was watching it fine until it suddenly disappeared
I tried playing every mkv files I have and it's all gone

I added external filter "autoloading version" directvosub
but it's still undetermined and not showing any

Codec Tweak Tool > Reset Settings
Codec Tweak Tool > Fixes > Re-register DirectShow filters from the K-Lite Codec Pack

Thanks for listing this fix. It worked perfectly, but also required a system reboot for my computer. There was no change in behavior before rebooting.
