K-lite broke WinRT`s FilePicker
I have installed K-lite standart 1090. K-lite - the only one program registering something about *.flac files.
When i navigate in Windows Store Applications FilePicker, it crashes when i hover a *.flac file.
I uninstall k-lite and the problem is gone, but then i install it again without mediainfo and deselect thumbnail generation for audio files.
Here the moment when app with FilePicker crashes

Re: K-lite broke WinRT`s FilePicker
MediaInfo can safely be installed. The pack does not include a shell extension for that.
The problem is most likely caused by the Icaros PropertyHandler. The developer of Icaros has been notified about the problems. In next version it will no longer be used for .flac files (except if the bug is fixed). Can you test if it works when you only disable the PropertyHandler and not the ThumbnailProvider?

The developer of Icaros has confirmed the problem. It is caused by the PropertyHandler. So you don't have to disable thumbnails.
A fix will be available soon.

The fix will be included in the next version of the codec pack (10.9.5).
