auto select audio/subtitle
Good idea for configure audio and subtitle in instal. I'm French, and I prefer VO. Almost all VO have the best quality audio, can I select the highest quality audio?
for subtitle, I have write this sequence: fre:fre|f;fre:none;fre|n;fre|d;fre|f;*
It's the best for me and works always (I have never found a video which match bad). Yes, I begin with my language for found the subtitle, and if the audio isn't my language, I select no tag (because with tag is for my language for texts in the video) in first.
And a problem if the audio (LAV) is not empty, it is priority on highest quality audio, sometimes english and VO have the same quality.

LAV should already pick the best quality track if two audio tracks have the same language. Can you post a MediaInfo log for a file where the selection is not good?

in the same language no problem. I thought that it selects the highest quality audio of all audio.

No, it does not have mind reading capabilities. If you set French as preferred, then it will always prefer French over English.
