Auto Update check? Empty Auto Update check?

Just wanted to be sure this was something that was implemented, as I now have a task scheduler entry. I also only download from the official mirrors noted on the CG website.

Auto Update check? Klcp10

If this was implemented, I'll have to double back through the install menu and uncheck it, as I only did an in-place upgrade from 10.6.6 > 10.7.0 > 10.7.1, all Standard edition. I stay fairly up-to-date without requiring it, though I can see how it would be advantageous for many.

Yes, this was added in 10.7.x. By default it checks just once per month and only notifies about major updates.

If you don't want it, you can just delete the task. That would be quicker than installing again.

As long as it is legitimate, I'm not concerned about it. Really just wanted to be sure it was intentionally included. I'll probably just leave it as-is, as given the infrequency at which it runs, I don't see the need to change anything. If/when I have to reinstall, I'll just have to look carefully and make the necessary changes. Thanks again.
