x264vfw doesn't seem to have 10 bit support, the high 10 profile in the vfw keeps generating the same result as 8 bit encoded video, same file size and stuff.

does k-lite have any option for virtualdub to encode x264 in 10 bit?

x264 encoders can be compiled for either 8-bit or for 10-bit encoding. The x264VFW codec is only available for 8-bit.
