Enable ReplayGain for audio files
Hi Guys!
I want to request this feature for MPC-HC: the media player should read Replay Gain Info from different tags type, ensuring that replay gain could be applied for FLAC, MP3, ALAC, M4A, AAC audio formats for example. And should show somewhere actual replay gain information for the file that are playing.
This an essential and great feature for audio playback.
Greetings!

Feature requests for MPC-HC can be submitted here:
https://trac.mpc-hc.org/report/9
Don't expect this functionality to be implemented any time soon. MPC-HC is mainly a video player. Also, since it is a DirectShow player, where each step in the decoding process is handled by separate components (splitter/decoder/renderer), it is difficult to add such functionality.
If you want an advanced audio player, you should use something like Winamp or Foobar.
