Stereo 2.1 question
Hi , when I install k lite mega there is an option to choose type of my speakers ....well , I have stereo 2.1 with subwoofer and when I choose it (2.1) there is a massage popup to tell me there are real 2.1 stereo and fake .
How could I identify the real one from fake besides both of them have 2 speakers and subwoofer .

Re: Stereo 2.1 question
If the speaker set is connected using just 1 cable, then choose 2.0. If each speaker has its own cable connected to your computer, then choose 2.1.
Re: Stereo 2.1 question

Re: Stereo 2.1 question
A single cable to the PC, so 2.0 is correct. The speakers themselves are of course always interconnected in this case.
It is a 2.1 speaker set. However it only uses 2.0 as input. The subwoofer uses the low-frequency information from the stereo channels.
Even if you would set 2.1 in the codec pack, Windows would convert it to 2.0.

Re: Stereo 2.1 question
You already have a 'real' 2.1 set. It simply just takes normal stereo as input. The information that the subwoofer uses is mixed into the stereo channels. You are not missing anything.
If you want to have more bass, then there are several ways to achieve that.
