System Sounds are very low after installing K-Lite Codec Pack Mega

After having to format my Hard Drive, I re-installed K-Lite Codec pack. I only started having this problem after installing it, and even after uninstalling it, I still have the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Operating System is Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64-Bit.

EDIT: Rebooting seems to have solved the issue. I'll make another post if it comes up again.

The codec pack does not change any volume levels in Windows. Your problem was caused by something else.

You can change the volume of System Sounds here:
Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Adjust system volume

If you experience any other sound anomalies in the future, then I recommend updating the sound driver. The standard drivers included with Windows are quite old.
