New to The Codec Pack Empty New to The Codec Pack

Post by saxman on Mon Feb 17, 2014 3:02 pm

Hello, I just installed the 'Mega' version of the Codec Pack and am new to all of this. Do these Codecs basically run on auto pilot and kick in when needed? I am using Win7 64-bit OS and it looks like the default settings are configured upon install. There looks like a bunch of boxes you can check in the configs that do certain things but am afaraid to mess something up. Is there a guide or pdf that explains each of the tweaks you can make in the configs?

Thank you in advance...

Your player will automatically use the codecs when needed. You don't need to change any settings Smile

Thank you...I am using Windows 7 64-bit so do you think I'm good to go with the Mega Pack I installed? Are 64-bit codecs included in that install?

Thanks

All 4 versions of the codec pack include both 32-bit and 64-bit codecs.
