MP3s not playing.

Hi there,

Not something I really notice, but yesterday, being Christmas, I broke out my Christmas carol MP3 folder.
None of them would play, just glitch noise, like the songs were playing at 10x speed.

I did a search on the net, and someone suggested uninstalling the klite codec pack.

Did that and low and behold, my mp3s played. So I guess there is a problem with the mp3 decoder in klite. I could be wrong, but can someone have a look for me?

try to instal newer k-lite codec player

open k-lite codec player folder on startup >> configuration >> lav audio

in output format uncheck except 16 bit integer and click apply/ok

and try to play it with MPC if doesn't work i think this is problem with your mp3 file. you can try to convert to other format like wma using converter like freemake vc and try to play.

The problem should not occur with the latest version of the codec pack. Problems can often be fixed by updating/re-installing. If it also happens with the latest version, then a sample file would be helpful.
