hi
i have a poblem when im playing mp4 files

i am using win 7 sp1 ultimate 64 bit

current codec pack installed on my system is K-Lite Codec Pack 10.1.5

when i play mp4 files with windows media player it wont show the subtitle or any decoder in my taskbar

but when i play mkv or avi file it plays the subtitles and shows lav decodec & spliter

how do i fix this ?

pls help

WMP uses Media Foundation codecs by default for MP4 files. That does not support subtitles.

You can solve the problem with this tweak:
Codec Tweak Tool > Win7DSFilterTweaker > Media Foundation > disable for .mp4
