Redistribution of K-Lite Codec Pack Basic

A topic has already been posted on the case but the story is different.
What I want is to include the K-Lite Code Pack Basic into a commercial application's installer and install the pack silently (/verysilent switch) along with the application since the application needs to play some audio files but the needed codecs may not be installed on the target machine.

Is is free and legal to redistribute K-Lite Codec Pack along with a commercial application?

That is not allowed. But you can instruct your users to download it when needed.
