FAIL - DUPLICATE CHANNELS
Hello!
We have a function that duplicate one channel on stereo songs, I use this because some songs have in one channel music and voice and in the other only music, so sometimes we need to cancel the channel with voice to obtain only music in both channels.
The problem is If I use any k-lite version of 64 bits, then the function receive the same audio from the channels so this function doesn't work. In some songs we only obtain voice and music and we can't delete the voice and in other we only obtain music and we can't put the voice. This error don't happen in all the songs only in the major part of our list of songs. I send you an example:
Best regards.

Re: FAIL - DUPLICATE CHANNELS
Adjust the following settings:
MPC-HC > options > internal filters > uncheck "MPEG PS/TS/PVA" source filter
ffdshow audio decoder > codecs > disable MP2
MPC-HC > options > internal filters > uncheck "MPEG PS/TS/PVA" source filter
ffdshow audio decoder > codecs > disable MP2
Re: FAIL - DUPLICATE CHANNELS
Thank you for the solution but, the problem continue happening, if you open the video with de WMP clasic it works fine, but with WMP in both channels sounds voice and music

Re: FAIL - DUPLICATE CHANNELS
In MPC-HC you can select the audio track though:
Play > Filters > MPEG Audio Decoder
WMP has a bug that prevents selection of the audio track. I know of a workaround, but that causes more problems than it solves, so I rather not share it. I really recommend using MPC-HC.

Thanks for your support!
Our player uses DirectShow like WMP for play the files, so we can't solve this problem. For us is very important cancel one channel because the main idea of our software is play karaokes, and we need to cancel the voice in some cases.
thank you!

Re: FAIL - DUPLICATE CHANNELS
It should work fine in a generic DirectShow player.
You should test with the GraphStudioNext tool. That behaves exactly like a basic DirectShow application. It displays the filters that it uses. It should use "MPEG-I Stream Splitter" and "MPEG Audio Decoder".
