Windows Media Player and Codecs
To be honest I'm not sure what the exact differences there are between Streaming and watching a Video.
I'm streaming [trying] from this link:http://www.tscnyc.org/media_center.p...rmons&mi=24066
The Audio player is as seen in the attachment's that are from the Times Square Church website. It's possible that the Vista version of WMP may not be compatible or new enough? It may require the higher desktop version? What do I know? I've never had this issue before.
**I can get the player to play the Video if I click on "Watch this video in a new window" Which I've never had to do before..
I have thought about codecs, but that is about as far as I got. And I don't understand why "out of the blue" this started to happen?
I am running the newest version of WMP which is 11.0.6002.18311 on the laptop which is Vista Home Basic. The version on my desktop is 12.0.7601.175.14 Windows 7. The issue is with the Laptop.
There are varying sides to adding entire packs as opposed to adding specific codecs. That makes me a little nervous about adding an entire pack. Is there any possible way to know what specific "codecs" would be needed in my case?
Any further suggestions or help greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, RFF
The codes I have presently. It's my understanding that it is better to install the codecs you need and not a whole pack.

Re: Windows Media Player and Codecs
The Basic version of the pack will make it play. It only contains a few codecs, exactly the ones you need.
Windows Media Player and Codecs
Thank You I installed the Standard version before I heard back from you. I'm not sure why this happens? Never before! bottom line it worked. I did not like the idea of being tossed over to servimg in order to post images. The info as I stated earlier UN/PW did not work. How can I make sure this is off my computer's insides?
God Bless

Re: Windows Media Player and Codecs
If you don't like servimg, then just use any other image host of your own preference. For example tinypic.com
