Adding image to post & servimg.com

Earlier today I tried to insert an image to one of my posts. I just checked my email and I got an email in my inbox from servimg.com saying my account has been created. I Googled it, and it appears to be an image hosting service. Is servimg.com connected to this forum? Is that how they "got me"?

That is possible. I have always used an external host directly, so I don't know how the forum behaves when attaching an image.

I had this same thing happen. The user name was my email and the PW they gave me does not work.

How do you include an Image with your post from your documents or desktop or wherever you have the image stored to be shared?

I didn't appreciate being "tossed over" to this servimg.com link and finding I can't even login in with the information they supplied to me. This should NOT be happening IMHO!!!

Apparently you have to use this 3rd party service (servimg.com) in order to do this. This is the only forum I've come across that works this way.

To the Administrators of this forum:
Can this be changed so a user can upload an image directly from their computer without going through a 3rd party?

Not possible. But you can upload images to sites like tinypic.com without having to register any account.
