Playing a MOV file
Hi There
I have copied some dvd films to my laptop, and they all have a MOV extension, but I could not play them with WMP.
I was told to install K Lite Codecs which I did.
I was also told to install VLC which I did, so I ended up with VLC-MEDIA CLASSIC PLAYER-WMP, but till no good.
All the film files are about 4 mb so any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Playing a MOV file
You'd better provide codec info using MediaInfo Lite,or upload the file to some file host.

Re: Playing a MOV file
How did you copy those DVDs? The file size is very suspicious. 4 MB is far too small. A DVD movie is at least 100 times bigger.
If you can't play the file with neither VLC nor with the codec pack installed, then the files might not be valid.
Right-click on the file and choose "Media Info" to get details about the files.
